Andrew & Andrew is a new name on the music publishing scene with a particular interest in producing accessible yet challenging music for amateur musicians and singers and for a variety of educational uses.
The Company has been built around music composed by co-founder Andy Jackson and the clear hallmark of our publications is that they are designed for practical use: From the initial choice of works, through the careful composition process and trials by orchestras, choirs and ensembles, to the final preparation of clearly readable and attractively presented scores and parts, the A&A logo is a guarantee of quality.
The flexible scoring and arrangement style means that musicians of all abilities can enjoy the final result as they perform both original works and arrangements of pieces by composers from the past. The versions of works by Beethoven, Purcell, Mozart and Handel in our list may be deceptively familiar or surprisingly novel, but will always engage performers and entertain audiences.
Our intention is to provide a no-frills, friendly, well-delivered service. There will be no pop-up advertising slogans on our site, no flashy bits of Java script that clog up the browser; we will not bombard you with junk mail, E-mail or otherwise.
Our initial catalogue is limited in size as we develop the service, but we hope that you will enjoy the end-product and look forward to hearing feedback about our products. We have other ideas waiting in the wings which have the potential to open up whole new genres of amateur music-making, not just here in the UK, but around the globe.
We hope you find our website interesting and informative and visit it often. We cannot promise that it will change radically on a daily or even monthly basis, but we hope to keep it fresh with new music to hear and information about our new publications as they become available.
